MEET THE TEAM

We are not here to tell you what to do or what not to do. Rather we would like to present to you holistic information on intentful decision-making.

Our team is non-judgmental, open-minded, inclusive, and trauma-informed.
We provide objective information that focuses strictly on health and well being. We encourage you to compare perspectives, conduct your own research, and make your own choices.

Our goal is to make valuable information available to you and watch you develop into a healthy, empowered person, with healthy boundaries and a successful life. Ultimately, we want you to be aware that the decisions you make about your relationships and your sexual life will have a significant impact on your physical and emotional health, your relationships, and your future family life. The sooner you become aware the better.

We look forward to connecting with you!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God." ~ Marianne Williamson

Hey there! Robin here. Although I wasn’t born or raised in Yakima, my roots run deep in the Valley and are what brought me here in 2003, a few years after getting married. Music is a big influence in my life, and I fit some sort of connection to music in each of my 4 kids’ names. I like hanging out with my family, eating good food, being outdoors, laughing, and shopping at Costco. I love to help others see their potential, particularly youth, especially when that leads to positive choices and relationships. Ignorance may be bliss, but knowledge increases potential, and we all have great potential, I know it!

You can start late, look different, be uncertain, and still succeed.

My name is Kala Johnston and I’m an educator with Think Twice in Yakima, WA. I am married to my husband of 21 years, and together we have 5 children. I have worked with youth in many areas including as a substitute teacher, a paraeducator and as a youth worker in youth groups and with Young Life. I enjoy building relationships with others and especially with teenagers. My desire is to see a generation of young people learn to make healthy choices for themselves that then means they can enter into healthy family relationships, which can then impact our communities that can impact our nation and eventually the world.

Hi!  I am Lisa.  I was raised (but not born) in Yakima.  My husband and I have been married for 27 years and we have 3 children.  We are a close family that loves being with each other.  I learned from a very early age to Love and serve Others.  Think Twice is just one of the great nonprofits I get to work with.  Work does not feel like work, when you love what you do.

My name is Billie.

I am married to my best friend, have four boys, and three dogs. I love God, spending time with family, being outdoors, and being creative. Youth has become a passion of mine to help encourage, educate, and build confidence in the next generations.

Hi, I’m Yazmin. I grew up in Yakima and enjoy spending time with my family. Fun facts: I am left handed & my initials are Y.A.Z. I studied at EWU and now have the pleasure to work with students in the Yakima Valley. Youth give me hope for a better future which is why I really enjoy this program. It encourages young people to organize their lives and plan ahead, I'm thankful to be a part of it.

I believe life is motivated by passion, the things we love. I am passionate about young people and helping people be who they can be. I have worked in youth over 15 years in education and church. That passion led me to Kenya where I worked at an internship program and met my amazing husband. We have been married almost 3 years and love playing board games, hiking and travel. But most importantly we both are passionate about the next generation and growing young leaders.
